Israeli air strikes kill eight in south Lebanon

BEIRUT: Lebanon's wellbeing service said on Friday Israeli strikes killed eight individuals, including a kid, in various pieces of the south, with Hezbollah expressing five of its warriors were among the dead.


Hezbollah has traded customary fire with Israel on the side of Hamas since the Oct 7 strike in Israel.


The wellbeing service said an "Israeli foe drone strike" killed two individuals, remembering a seven-year-old for Aita Al Jabal, and that three other Israeli strikes killed six individuals in three different areas in the south.


Lebanon's state-run Public News Organization said a "threatening robot" designated a house in Aita Al Jabal with "two directed rockets".


The wellbeing service said Israeli strikes incorporated an attack "on the town of Tayr Harfa that killed three individuals", with Hezbollah later grieving three contenders killed by Israeli fire, including a man from that equivalent town.


A source near the gathering said the three contenders were killed in the Tayr Harfa strike.


Later on Friday the gathering grieved two additional contenders, recognizing one as Najem.
