GAZA STRIP: Gaza's respectful safeguard office said an Israeli strike on a school-turned-cover killed no less than 12 individuals on Tuesday, while the Israeli military said it struck a Hamas war room.
"Our teams recovered 12 saints from the Mustafa Hafiz school, which was bombarded by the Israeli occupation west of Gaza City," organization representative Mahmud Bassal told AFP.
Large number of uprooted Palestinians had looked for shelter in the school, he said, in the midst of the continuous conflict in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military said the school was designated on the grounds that it housed an order and-control focus.
Bassal had before given a cost of seven dead and 15 injured in the strike, which he said had stirred things up around town floor of the school building. The school was decreased to rubble, with scores of Palestinian people, many holding kids, escaping the site after the strike.

Bodies recovered
