PM Shehbaz to Attend Iranian President's Introduction Ceremony in Tehran

Head of the state Shehbaz Sharif is because of movement to Tehran to go to the introduction of Iranian president-elect Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, who won the Islamic Republic's official run-off political decision recently.


Unfamiliar Office (FO) representative Mumtaz Zahra Baloch reported the outing during her week after week press instructions on Thursday.


"At the greeting of the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Gathering of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Muhammad Baghir Ghalibaf, the top state leader [… ] will visit Tehran on July 30 to go to the introduction service of the Duly elected president of Iran, Dr Masoud Pezeshkian," she said.


"The visit validates the responsibility by the two nations to reinforce authority level commitment and reciprocal participation."


Pezeshkian, a 69-year-old heart specialist known to be generally moderate, was chosen as the president on July 6. The political decision was called after President Ebrahim Raisi was killed in a helicopter crash in May.


Following Pezeshkian's triumph, President Asif Ali Zardari had praised the recently chosen president in a post on X. "Pakistan and Iran appreciate brotherly ties and I trust that under your authority our relations will develop further," he said.


"Anticipating cooperating for the harmony and success of the district," he added.


PM Shehbaz had likewise congratulated Pezeshkian and expressed that as adjoining nations, Pakistan and Iran partake in a nearby and notable relationship.


"We should guarantee a brilliant future for our two people groups through commonly valuable participation," he posted on X.


Security of discretionary missions

While answering inquiries from correspondents, the representative said that the FO has been in touch with German specialists in regards to the assault on the department in Frankfurt.


Recently, "a group of radicals" — purportedly Afghan nationals — supposedly tossed stones at the structure and even destroyed the Pakistani banner.


"We have asked them (German specialists) to guarantee the security of the Pakistani mission," Baloch said.


The FO, she added, had mentioned that the suspects be captured and indicted quickly, repeating an assertion from Representative Head of the state and Unfamiliar Clergyman Ishaq Dar mentioning something similar.


Besides, the representative said that the FO will send off an examination concerning the security pass at the department in Frankfurt.
