DOHA: Israel's tactical activity in Rafah has set détente dealings with Hamas "in reverse", middle person Qatar said on Tuesday, adding that talks have reached "very nearly an impasse".
"Particularly in the beyond couple of weeks, we have seen some energy constructing yet tragically things didn't move in the correct bearing and this moment we are on a status of very nearly an impasse," Head of the state Mohammed container Abdulrahman Al Thani told the Qatar Monetary Discussion.
"Obviously, what occurred with Rafah has set us in reverse."
Qatar, which has facilitated Hamas' political office in Doha beginning around 2012, has been locked in _ alongside Egypt and the US _ in long stretches of in the background intercession among Israel and the Palestinian gathering.
